I like it but hard to go from Britax to inexpensive seat…,
From what I gather this is almost identical to the LX model except the seat pad??? Anyway, its cute, comfy for my son, easy to install into the car. We had a Britax Marathon prior, so I miss the niceness of that one, but since we decided to spend less on the booster/harness seat I’m happy with choice.
The little accessories are a bit silly, and the armrests serve little purpose. I hate the adjustments for harness being on the chest, but since my 3 yr old son is 38lbs and 41 inches tall, the slack doesn’t get in the way, its just weird to have it there.
It is easy to install into the car, you just have to pull back the cover and reach inside to pull it more parallel to the seat back rather than the other types that you can pull upwards or perpendicular to seat, so I got a nice snug fit no problem. Changing the shoulder harnesses to fit his height was extremely easy compared to our Graco seat and Britax we had before, so that is a plus!
He seems happy in it, in fact he fell asleep in it today and his head didn’t slump over nearly as forward as it used to in his other car seats which is nice, but I think its unavoidable unless you have a recline feature in a seat (do they make those and is that even safe?)
Overall, I’m content with it, I think when we buy another seat for my husbands car we will go with a different brand but this one will be fine for us.
I would recommend this if you are on a budget and looking for a simple seat/booster! But if you have money, buy a nicer one.

|Good Seat for the Price,
Having never owned a high-end convertible or booster carseat, I can’t compare this to much. However, the few observations I can make about this seat are:
Pros:
- The entire seat is well-cushioned and comfortable
- Nice headrest. Valuable when you’ve got a sleepy child (especially since the seat doesn’t recline)
- Harness, when fastened properly, secures our little one well.
- Latches are much easier to hook and unhook than our prior Graco
Cons:
- Harness is too complicated. We were finally able to figure it out, but surely it could have been designed to secure more easily.
- Cup-holders came off imediately upon installation. Don’t buy because of the accessories. They’re not worth even putting on.
- Doesn’t secure well in an older vehicle without a latch system.
Overall, I’m happy with my purchase. Our little one likes being in his “big boy” forward-facing seat, and you really can’t beat the price. I would recommend to anyone with a budget like mine(aka- can’t spend $100+ on a seat).
