Maestro rocks!,
My husband and I have two Evenflo car seats, the Maestro and the Chase. The Maestro is by far the superior car seat! The straps are much easier to adjust and the arm rests are more user friendly. The seat is comfy on long trips, and the head area is much more protected.

|Evenflo Maestro Booster,
So far this car seat has worked very well for us. One of the main reasons we chose it was because you can adjust the straps taller than any of the other car seats in the store. That’s important to consider if your child is tall. I would suggest going to the store, putting your child in the car seats, and finding the one that gives him/her the most room to grow (vertically). Adjusting and installing are pretty easy.
We have used the seat in the airplane (Southwest), and it fit just fine. The cup holders are placed beyond the armrests of the airplane seat, so you don’t need to worry about those being too wide for the seat to fit.

|Quite Pleased,
We have a Britax Frontier and I was looking for a combination booster seat for our second vehicle. Since the Evenflo Maestro was listed as a “best bet” in the Highway Safety Research study [] , and the price was so reasonable, I decided to try it. It is definitely less roomy than my Britax Frontier. However, it is quite well padded and adjusting the restraint strap and the crotch strap to fit my 4 year old, 40 lb. son was easy.
I decided to try installing it in my 2004 Honda Odyssey. Installation using the LATCH system was also easy and I was pleased with the extremely snug fit. No budging at all once installed. The only DRAWBACK was that the tether strap is not long enough to reach the tether component which is under the seat. After such a good experience overall, I was really disappointed. I will try it in our other vehicle and hope that it will reach. That’s my only complaint, but it’s not a minor matter to me.
Overall, nice seat, excellent safety ratings, great price. Be aware that the tether strap may not be long enough if you have a van or SUV.
